Bank of America on Army Post Road and SE 5th Street in Des Moines is closing because they decided not to renew their lease.  They were formerly St. Louis based Boatmen's Bank.

Please support this petition to at least keep an ATM on the South Side, so people who don't have a car don't have to take the 45 minute bus ride to the Ingersoll Avenue location.

Bank of America is very important to me, and though I was told by a Bank of America representative that is familiar with the Des Moines market that they are not leaving our area ultimately, I'd like one on the South Side for convenience!
