Those colors (referring to gatehouse) match the new version of the Chickee Bar which goes with nothing else here either. The gray blue color with white shutters and those gray roofs are out of place and the roofs have been defective on the west - facing surface from the outset.

Speaking of the Chickee Bar. Have you noticed that there's no enclosure?. Not incuded in the original plan and since  the expense has exceeded the budget no idea if and when we'd be able to afford such an "extravagance"

The existing clubhouse is in need of updating.  It has served us very well and with relatively minor expense to upgrade.can continue to serve us well going forward .ie:new a/c ,new sound system, updated sound proofing, hurricane and tinted glass in gazebo and doors... regrading of exterior to prevent water intrusion.  Kitchen equipment and bar area upgrade and there you have it in addition.to what needs to be done to achieve Boca's requirements. Advantage.. not an exorbitant sum and a reasonable time frame.

As co - chair of the Program Committee for 4 years I can state that all of our
guest performers,.lecturers etc. always commented on how much they enjoyed coming here because of the intimacy of our facility and the involvement of our audience. All hoped we would ask them to return. Dr. Robert Watson is quoted as saying "I hope you YARCOBR people know you live in Paradise and you should never change it".

We have had our annual Club meetings, our Building annual meetings cum dinner beautifully arranged and served, as well as holiday dinner celebrations to which we proudly invited our families to join us..in addition enjoyed sold -out performances by our home grown talent...all experienced warmly in a not perfect but easily updated and improved environment.

No more destruction. Improvement/ updating instead. Destruction is the easy way out. Think about us as a landmarked
community worthy of that approach.

Btw. New entrance sign and directional signs DO coordinate with overall design of the complex. With the exception of the Chickee Bar that is. Why that drastic change? Could have been painted and roofed to blend.. why wasn't that done?

Sad.. that our beautifully designed and coordinated with nature community is being destroyed in the guise of progress as is evidenced from the view that our apartment has provided for many years.
