On January 26, China announced a ban on its wild animal trade until the crisis of Coronavirus is over . The virus was sourced to a market in Wuhan. Until then, thousands of wild animals were kept alive and dead in these so-called "wet markets" spread all over China. According to the information gathered by newspapers around the world, 54 species of wildlife ranging from bats to palm civets and crocodiles were not only sold on the wet markets but also online, available and legal for whoever wants to buy them.

Along with these 54 species legally traded, many animals from all over the world are poached, exported illegally and sold there for food and "medicine", driving majestic creatures to extinction: from pangolins to elephants. Chimpanzees are hunted for bushmeat and tigers are farmed to use their blood and bones.

LET'S STOP THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL, ALONG WITH ALL THE CONSEQUENCES IT HAS FOR HUMAN HEALTH.
