We the undersigned hereby petition Wyndham City Council:

Featherbrook Reserve, the home of the Point Cook Centrals Sporting Club, the Sharks, is much overdue for an expansion and redevelopment.

When compared to other sporting facilities within Wyndham City Council it is time that Featherbook receives it’s fair share of funding. Nearby Saltwater Pavilion is far newer than Featherbrook Reserve and funding for its redevelopment has been slated for announcement. 

We request that;

1. $100,000 be allocated in the upcoming 2024/25 budget to deliver a scoreboard for Featherbrook Reserve
2. Detailed design and consultation to commence in the 2024 calendar year on the re-development of the Featherbrook Reserve.
3. $4.2 million be allocated for the redevelopment of Featherbrook Reserve in the 2025/26 budget. 

We call on Wyndham City Council to fully commit and fund the Featherbrook Reserve upgrade and redevelopment.
