We call upon the World Leaders who signed the Paris Climate Change Agreement to pressure Donald Trump, the new American President, in honoring the Agreement.

The Paris Agreement is the first legally binding global climate deal adopted by 195 countries, including the US, that entered into force this month. Its main goal is to prevent catastrophic warming of the earth by keeping the global average temperature to well below 2 degrees [Celsius] above pre-industrial levels.

Climate change is not a hoax. It is the greatest threat facing humanity in the 21st century. The impacts of climate change including warming temperatures represent a serious threat to human and ecosystem health, water supply, biodiversity, agriculture, food security and the global economy.
