Let us come together to minimize and completely put an end to preventable Maternal Mortality in Nigeria.

Maternal mortality is unacceptably high in Nigeria especially in the rural areas. Young women die during / following pregnancy and childbirth. Majority of these deaths occur in rural areas or low-resource hospitals / maternity clinics, most of these deaths can and should be prevented. 

Too many young Nigerian women have fought for their lives during child birth and most never lived to tell their stories. We want the Nigerian government to step up and take action before more women die. Most of these deaths are absolutely preventable. We deserve better health care in this country. We should not be forced to always travel abroad in fear of our lives or that of our babies.

Most of us cannot afford this luxury and we struggle to save to have our babies delivered in our country but most times we don't get to see our babies or they die along side us. We demand better care. We demand to live to see our babies grow. We demand to live to be with our families and loved ones.
