With the horrific Yulin dog meat "festival" just 15 days away, we gathered in San Francisco's Union Square on June 1st to launch a month-long, international outpouring of love for dogs and cats in protest of the cruel "festival" and the illegal trade behind it.
Throughout June, we ask you to stand with our four-legged friends and family as we send the message:
DOGS AND CATS ARE FAMILY, NOT FOOD.

This work is not easy. The grief, anger, and frustration can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially since our work is long-term and there are no quick-fix shortcuts.
