We request that Worcestershire County Council ensure properly funded bus services to address:

·  Social isolation

·  Environmental issues

·  Equality of access to employment and public services

·  Congestion

Are you missing the bus? Worcestershire County Council used to spend £5.6m in 2010/11 to support bus services. This was slashed to only £1.8m by 2018/19. Buses are a good thing.  Better public transport has been proven to reduce loneliness and isolation, reduce traffic jams, improve air pollution and help with climate change. That’s why we are calling for real investment in Worcestershire’s Bus services: Better Buses, Better Lives.
