Tonight at 7pm - Time to Stand Up! Woodbury City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek Road
Tonight is the night!
This evening at 7pm, the City Council will decide, based on OUR INPUT, whether or not to RE-ZONE this plot to a HIGH-DENSITY zone. Thus, moving /or not moving this high-density RENTAL property forward.
As a reminder, people in the room do not need to fill out speaker cards and are just there to SHOW the Council that they CARE ENOUGH about the project TO SHOW UP and give 1-2 hours of their time. I can't stress enough how important it will be, to fill the room with people who care about this project.
If not for you and your property values, show up for the safety of the community and for all of the neighborhood kids.
- The proposed build comes with a parking garage - Parking garages are the #3 place in America for violent crime. This is regardless of cameras within the facility.
- This plot of land is about 700 feet away from East Ridge HS – and will affect school boundaries. The So Washington school district just notified parents that, due to the completion of LARGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS, there’s a potential of more than 3,500 new k-12 students expected to move to the district – proving that this project is compounding this issue.
- These are just a fraction of reasons why we cannot let this project move forward.
It comes down to this meeting – We can’t stress enough how important your support will be during this time as the City Council will be on making the final decision. They were voted in, by all of you, to represent us. We need to let them know where we stand on the issue.
Keep our neighborhood as is. Come out and show your support to keep this a low-density neighborhood – as it was always intended to be.
This meeting will be the LAST meeting on this project and it all comes down to tonight at 7pm - at the Woodbury City Hall in the City Council Chambers on the second floor, which is located at 8301 Valley Creek Road.
I look forward to seeing you there!
