Join us in calling on Prime Minister Mark Carney and our Member of Parliament Laila Goodridge to do everything in their power to force Israel to stop its genocide in Gaza. 

Thousands of Palestinian families are starving to death while Israel blocks food and medical supplies and prevents aid organizations from entering Gaza. Hundreds of Palestinians are shot by Israeli soldiers every week while trying to get flour and basic rations from Israel’s “aid” stations.

Thousands of eyewitness accounts by doctors, journalists, and aid workers have testified to these brutalities. 

Meanwhile, the Canadian government has issued toothless statements condemning Israel's actions, but has so far refused to take any concrete action to pressure Israel to end the genocide. In the absence of international opposition, Israel is now planning a full military takeover of Gaza, which would result in even more death and misery. 

As a community that values life, family and our freedom to live in peace, we expect our leaders and representatives to uphold these values at home and abroad.

Canada can take meaningful action to pressure Israel to stop its genocide of Palestinians, including the following:

• Establish a two-way arms embargo that stops all sales of Canadian weapons and military supplies to Israel
• Work with international partners to send humanitarian aid convoys to Gaza
• Stop free trade with Israel
• Issue sanctions against Israeli politicians and government. 
• Ban the recruitment of Canadians into the Israeli Defense Forces
• Push for Canada to formally support International Criminal Court investigations into violation of International Law. 
• Investigate Canadians returning from serving in the IDF for war crimes 

As Canadians, we cannot afford to be silent in the face of starvation and genocide. We cannot trust leaders who do nothing to stop genocide.
