Whereas; representation matters and this could get not just girls but gay girls playing Magic (either at all or again) to shatter a few stereotypes

Whereas; their interactions made the "Bolas Arc" for a lot of people and a romance would give them an excuse to be around each other a lot

Whereas; the amount of people who would buy cards that there was explicit (SFW) queer representation on (or even the novel it was in if they retconned away that part of Forsaken through another novel) would probably make up for not being able to sell it to Russia and China at least until some activism can be done to change those countries' minds

Whereas; it is technically a profit for them to do this given how many people have already said they'd be boycotting buying cards because of this and therefore it'd gain back their card buying and the profit from that that they would have otherwise lost

Whereas; it would be easy and in-character to retcon away it being perceived as platonic before as both of these girls, no offense, are kind of emotional messes imho so it's understandable if it takes them a while to see feelings truly for what they are

Whereas; Red and Green are ally colors and these two are the "iconic" walkers for those colors

Whereas; it would restore a lot of LGBTQ+ people's faith in Magic/Wizards and make them see them as an ally again, therefore improving the company's image about a kajillionfold

Therefore; in the next major lore addition featuring one or both of said Planeswalkers, Wizards should retcon away their retcon and make it explicit (in the SFW sense) that Chandra and Nissa are a couple
