Ask Senator Bill Rabon and Representative Charlie Miller to withdraw HB 911 and let Southport city officials negotiate with those who prompted this Southport ETJ elimination bill.  This legislation would be devastating for the the city and its outlaying areas, resulting in unchecked development, clearcutting and environmental damage to one of the last remaining jewels in Brunswick County.  If passed, it could easily triple Southport's population.
