Attempts have been made to remove Carl the Kenosha Turkey from his home. He is a beloved "local celebrity" that brings joy to our community in a time of great division and fear. Citizens regularly watch out for him and removing him from his established neighborhood is unnecessary and would make many people, especially local children, VERY unhappy. We are against it and would ask that the proper authorities declare he be left alone. The goal of this petition is to declare our wishes as a community and dissuade any further attempts to remove Carl from the home he has chosen by any entity other than the DNR. We would ask that the local and state officials see Carl's wishes and ours respected and enforced.
