It is very satisfying to get to 90 signatures on what is such a local campaign. Your signatures will eventually help those who are not getting the help and support they need and deserve.

Just as importantly, there are many professional staff in the council who need our support in order to do the job the trained and applied for. Many are struggling and overworked and are gagged from complaining.

Please think of the people in our communities that are struggling for want of help, of from the poor decisions made on their behalf and also think of those employed, overworked and who do not have a voice.

Please ask your friends and colleagues to sign on their behalf. It is so important for everyone in our beautiful communities know the truth of these cuts to have a voice effect the changes that are needed.

Real democracy is not passive. It is active and the powers-that-be have a responsibility to tell the truth and to respond to our individual & collective requests and demands. Democracy begins at the local level.
