I made this petition to demonstrate the demand for the expansion of the disc golf course at Wilson Farm park in Tredyffrin Township. Please sign and share with others!

Last month I pitched the expansion of the Disc golf course  at Wilson Farm Park to the Park and Recreation board of Tredyffrin Township. The meeting went really well and the board was receptive to the idea. The one thing they asked for was proof that people that lived in Tredyffrin Township would support the idea. I am asking you reach out to anyone you know who lives in Tredyffrin or Easttown Township or the surrounding areas to please sign this petition.

The Park is being upgraded and already has a plan to spend $2.5M in the next two years. It is up to us to prove to the township that there is sufficient demand and community support for a disc golf course!

Based on our initial work, we envision the course will be built in the same area that it is currently contained in. The course will bring many benefits to the community (disc golf enthusiasts and rookies alike), some of which we have outlined herein:

·       $0 cost to participate – free for all players

·       Suitable for all ages / sexes

·       Low cost to build / maintain (fraction of the $2.5M Dollar park planned spend)

·       Current quote of $30K is far less than the costs of other projects such as basketball courts, tennis courts and athletic fields while also being better for the environment

·       The ecology of a Disc golf course aligns with the townships goal of creating an oasis
