More than 1,100 beach users have signed our petition but bad news:

Redevelopment plans for the WSLSC precinct have been released and it looks like we're being ignored!

There are still just two public toilets and little or no improvement in the change rooms, showers and public facilities at all. 

The places where swimmers meet are not improved. I've put more pictures and explanations about how this is not good for public swimmers here at my recent blog post.

I'm surprised about these plans because I also have supportive emails from four HBCC councillors including the Mayor.

Dora and I were invited to meet with council officers who seemed receptive and obviously impressed with the level of public support for the petition.

Dora has now been advised by HBCC that we should lodge comments and suggestions through the project page (link below).
