Williams High School is rich in history - from its founding in 1911 and the opening of its doors in 1912, to today.  Many of our parents and grandparents are alumni, not to mention many of our aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  To change the colors of Williams High School is disrespectful to say the least.  By signing this petition, your voices can be heard.  By signing this petition, we, the alumni, current students, our families and friends can go forward and show the administration how important it is to preserve our history.  WE BLEED BROWN AND GOLD!

Please note:  the subject of changing the colors of Williams High School is only up for a vote by staff as well as current students.  The alumni do not get a vote or a say, nor is it slated to be heard by the Williams Unified School District Board of Directors. 

It is ludicrous, to say the least, for someone who has no history in Williams to just come in and change school colors without giving a thought to how the alumni, as well as the entire town who supports WHS, feels about it.  Has he taken into consideration the costs of football uniforms and helmets alone?  

We only have days to be heard; plans to order paint are this Friday, May 1st, 2020.
