By not purchasing products made from endangered animals, you can stop wildlife trafficking.

The Issue

In the past decade, wildlife trafficking – the poaching or other taking of protected or managed species and the illegal trade in wildlife and their related parts and products – has escalated into an international crisis. Products demanded by the trade include exotic pets, food, traditional medicine, clothing, and jewelry made from animals' tusks, fins, skins, shells, horns, and internal organs. Smuggled wildlife is an increasing global demand. it is estimated that the US, China, and the European Union are the places with the highest demand. Wildlife trafficking is both a critical conservation concern and a threat to global security with significant effects on the national interests
