somerset locals will know the pain of enduring the drive around one of our most dangerous roundabouts in the county. unfortunately a lot of  commuters have to go around this roundabout multiple times a day. many accidents have been caused on this roundabout due to reckless driving and driving at far too high speeds. this roundabout joins onto a small dual carriageway. i believe it would be a lot safer and a lot of people would be put at ease going onto this roundabout if traffic lights were fitted around it, almost like a motorway roundabout but on a lower scale. a lot of people experience immense anxiety when forced to go onto this roundabout, i believe the roundabout is poorly managed for how busy it gets and it often gets used by the public and freshly passed drivers who can be a danger to others and themselves without the correct management. this is why i believe traffic lights should be fitted as so many problems would be resolved.
