White House, won't you stop yielding to Israel

The Issue

As should be crystal clear, Israel's "concession" to complete about 3,000 housing units and TEMPORARILY freeze other construction is an affront to the US and Palestine. Israel must halt all settlement activity in order to start the stalled peace talks. Constantly yielding to the Israelis while supporting and arming them, establishes the US as a partisan, not a peacemaker. Until we toughen our stance, Israel will continue its bullying, secure in the knowledge that we will protect them. There will never be peace in the Middleeast unless we stand firm. We must stop coddling Israel, if we ever really want peace there.
