Your actions have deeply troubled many in the Asian American community. While you appointed your 90-year-old uncle as a counselor to the presidential office, demonstrating care and respect for your family, you have also used your influence over Taiwan’s court system to target political opponents like Ko Wen-je. This has resulted in a father in a coma being denied the chance to see his son, a profoundly inhumane and cruel act. Such a stark contrast in treatment reveals a troubling lack of fairness and compassion in your leadership. These actions betray the principles of justice and democracy expected of a true leader. 

給台灣賴清德總統,

我們許多亞裔美國人對您的行為感到深深的不安。您任命 90 多歲的叔叔擔任總統府資政，展現了對家人的照顧和尊重，但同時卻利用您對台灣司法系統的影響力，針對像柯文哲這樣的政治對手。這導致一位昏迷中的父親無法再見他的兒子，這是一個極其不人道且殘忍的行為。您對待家人與對待政敵父親的方式形成了鮮明的對比，暴露了您在領導上缺乏公正與同理心。這些行為背離了正義與民主的基本原則，也不符合人們對真正領袖的期望。
