Well, this is it. Today will decide if the tramway will change its tag from 'temporarily disused' to 'permanently disused'. I don't know what will happen, I feel that either size has a 50% chance of winning. I'm...personally scared, all the hard work that has been put into this and all the dedication used to try and help make Weymouth better. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your fantastic support, to the people from the start and to the people who've liked in the last week, you have all helped. On Sunday we hit 2,000 signatures on the petition, and it just shows how many people are keen for this. Even to the people who dislike the campaign, they have helped in their criticism to make a society which most people will love. If we do not win today, I will not give up. I have built up this campaign too far to just let it go. I will try my hardest, and my colleges, to get the trains back, or at least, the rails from being ripped up. We can't loose this asset to the town as it what makes Weymouth, Weymouth. The British Rail services won't come back, but hopefully a small rail service bringing tourists back to Weymouth. Even if the rails just get left there and filled in, we must do anything as scrap is not an option. So, this 14 year old schoolboy set up a campaign in 2015 to bring a little train service in Weymouth, and what an experience its been.
