The contract for sale has now been exchanged and Acorn have paid a 10% deposit. It therefore seems fairly certain that the sale will complete as soon as the last remaining aerial has been removed from the building. (The need to remove of various telecoms aerials has been the reason for the delay in completion). The good news is that Acorn have not pursued their appeal against the Council's decision, even though this was lodged with the Planning Department. Council Officers are therefore hopeful that Acorn will now submit a full planning application. We can only hope that this is the case and that the application has the "wow factor" that was promised and is not just an internal refurbishment.
