Already one of the largest proposed new developments in Westfield history, Pulte has added more land and homes (1,040 homes, 495 apartments, total 799+ acres)to their Wood Wind proposal. A second public hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 21st at the Westfield Intermediate School. We expect another record attendance! It is critical that the citizens of Westfield have and use the opportunity to share their views on any development, especially one this large, as any new development has implications for the schools, roads, public safety and lifestyle. While this proposal intends to keep the golf course, it should not be at the expense of Westfield citizens and our children. Pulte has made a proposal that completely disregards the 2007 comprehensive plan. If the city approves it, it will be at the cost of hundreds of citizen's visions for Westfiel! With 21 neighborhoods west of Westfield already under construction it would appear that "needing rooftops", as stated in the recent Current by golf course management, isn't a problem!
