Beware, if you sign you will be endorsing the newly submitted Pulte Plan at Wood Wind and supporting parties likely to profit from Pulte Homes. This plan does NOT guarantee the golf course to stay open because it is not deed restricted. This is one of 18 new developments which in itself will add over 1,400 dwellings to Westfield and is the subject of the public hearing September 6th. This development violates numerous criteria in the current comprehensive plan. It is because of increasing development pressure like this, the risk of losing Westfield's only public golf course, preserving green space and promoting responsible development, that The Conservancy was formed as an addendum to the comp plan. Go to Westfield.in.gov and click on "the city of Westfield map". It s an eye opener as it shows how development is spreading and our rural district is disappearing. History has shown that change is inevitable, but when our voices are heard, together we can help shape and direct how change takes place! HELP is needed!
