Speaking to people living north of the airport they have commented to me that the Flight Path Noise Tool shows that we will not be impacted by noise of a night time.

This is not the case! The modelling shown in the Noise Tool assumes that all night time flights will travel to the south of the airport but this is only true if;

• the runways are dry
• the winds are not from the north/north-east at 10 km/hr or more
• the airport demand is low

Otherwise there will be night time departures and arrivals to the north of the airport.

This year is coming to a close which just leaves us one month to make a submission to the Draft EIS. Please think about making a submission. It doesn't have to be long, just enough to express the concerns you have about the impacts this airport will have on you, your family, and your community. Also, please continue to share this petition.
