Night time flights will affect all of Western Sydney dependent on weather, rain and wind direction, as well as airport demand. The modelling in the Noise Tool is misleading because it assumes that night flights will always fly south. But that is not the case.

Since the release of the Draft EIS aircraft heading west or north west from Kingsford Smith Airport have been flying at lower altitudes than usual. interesting that the noise level from planes flying at 10,000ft is the same level as the Draft EIS states will be experienced at 5,000ft. I believe we are being mislead by the Draft EIS and noise levels will be much higher than we are being told.
