We are focusing on getting the message across to all  Councillors in Galway who voted no to the greenway feasibility study last September. We are asking them not to block the feasibility study this year so if you are based in County Galway or have Galway connections then please send a short text to each cllr with a very short "Dear xyzcx, please don't vote against the Quiet Man Greenway feasibility study proposal in Sept......" message, It's easy to write one text then use the forward function to resend the text each time. We think it is very important to personalise each text with " Hi xyxyz" and, most importantly, sign it off with your name and location.
I would suggest if using this method to be very careful not to be drawn into a tit for tat debate by text  that might end up in anything that could be construed as offensive. The last thing we need is a Councillor claiming indignancy or harassment in advance of the vote.
