Western Rail TrailGreenway Public meeting in Athenry at the Raheen Woods Hotel, at 8.00 pm this Tuesday August 21st.   Last September Galway council voted 25:15 against a motion to support a feasibility study into the greenway on the Galway section of the Western Rail Trail from Athenry to Milltown.  Now the 25 councillors are being challenged and asked why are you stopping tourism in Galway?    20,500 have signed a petition asking for a greenway.  Come along to the Raheem Woods Hotel in Athenry this Tuesday at 8.00 pm and show Galway County council enough is enough.   Support the greenway now or we will find councillors who will next May!!!
