On the 24th March 2016, my beloved dog Flex was seized by authorities from reports by others in my community that my dog was "dangerous" and a boxer cross pitbull breed. After much research I believe my dog is NOT crossed with a banned breed and therefore should never of been seized. He's a beautiful, loving and protective dog who was forced to live in a basement until he was given to me. I fed him and got him to a healthy weight, exercised him regularly, encouraged him to interact with other dogs and humans and trained him to the best of of my abilities. He has been attacked with a knife and still has never EVER bitten anyone or another animal, not even playfully. He loves children and is only quite scared of large men until he is used to them. I truly believe my dog (or any dog) should not be put down whether he has pitbull in him or not.
