Our laws and school of thought needs to be brought from lies and propaganda to fact and scientific evidence. Studies show that marijuana helps many debilitating diseases: cancer, HIV/AIDS, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, epilepsy, Chron’s disease, (PTSD), neuropathy, fibromyalgia, arthritis, lupus, and diabetes. In a 20 year study, Marijuana presented no evidence of chronic lung trouble(COPD). The National Cancer Institute released a study showing that marijuana killed breast and lung cancers in lab tests. Not only does marijuana not kill brain cells its show to slow and possible reverse effects of Alzheimers and other brain degenerative diseases.

In West Virginia, we're 2nd in the nation in current amount of tobacco smokers at 26.8% and it KILLS 443,000 people a year in the US alone. It is proven to cause COPD and cancer. Our state is 2nd worst state for current tobacco smokers at 26.8%. Tobacco is shown to cause not only lung cancer, but mouth, lips, nasal cavity (nose) and sinuses, larynx (voice box), pharynx (throat), esophagus (swallowing tube), stomach, pancreas, kidney, bladder, uterus, cervix, colon/rectum, ovary (mucinous), and acute myeloid leukemia.
