The West Virginia state government and US Park Service have decided to close the campgrounds on the New River and Bluestone Lake in Summers County. These Campgrounds include Shanklins Ferry, Cedar Branch, Mouth of Indian Creek on the New River. Also Bertha, Bulls Falls, and Conference Center on the Bluestone Lake. These campgrounds provide lasting memories for families and friends. Many people have enjoyed these places for years and years. To think the that they will be closed is preposterous and shameful. People should have rightful access to the river and lake as they please. The government shouldn't take those rights away from people who enjoy the outdoors.
