Since I live around the corner from the bridge, I like to go over there and sit on nice days. I walk out to almost the end of the Wheeling Island side, and sit down and think, and I really feel at peace. I see so many bicyclers go by, and joggers. People carrying groceries, walking their dogs, and walking with their children. Maybe if you're not a resident of Wheeling Island, or Martins Ferry, or Bridgeport, this is hard to understand. The view from that bridge is amazing and calming. It's better than most parks I've known.
