We the undersigned, as citizens of launceston/west tamar/tasmania, support the development of free modern public skateparks within our region. We recognize the need for and the benefits of free public skateparks and believe the councils should at the very least provide suitable land and agree to maintain the skateparks after construction, and at the most, fund, build and maintain the skateparks just as it would a basketball court, tennis court, or other public general use area.
