Tour Descriptions:
Family Ride – Ride through the alleys and sidestreets of the northern part of the Borough of West Chester. This is a true family event for all age groups and skill levels. All operating bicycles are appropriate – even ones with training wheels! Come out for a morning of moderate exercise and fun.
25 Mile Ride- Enjoy a morning riding in the rolling hills of Chester County, passing through the picturesque towns of Marshallton and Unionville. Take a break and refresh yourself at the Natural Lands Trust’s beautiful ChesLen Preserve. Then continue your journey back to the Barclay Grounds. This is an ideal training ride if you are riding in the MS City to Shore rides. Elevation 1400 feet.
50 Mile Ride – This ride is similar to the 25 Mile Ride but with more mileage, more rolling hills, more scenic views of Chester County. You will pass through Marshallton, Unionville and Highland. Our rest stop at the Natural Lands Trust’s ChesLen Preserve will provide you with refreshments. This is one for the more ambitious rider. Again, this is an ideal training ride if you are riding in the MS City to Shore rides. Elevation 3,400 feet.
If you are not a cyclist and not interested in the Family Ride please pass this e-mail on to someone who might be.
Thank you so much for your on-going support.
