Petition updateWEP/GPO, The fight to repeal Social Security Unfairness has Passed CongressSenate Law Enforcement Caucus update
SEAN LAGRANDMD, United States
Apr 18, 2022

There are 27 Senators on The U.S. Senate Law Enforcement Caucus and it is a forum for officials, community groups, and other stakeholders to meet with legislators, staff, and one another to share experiences and develop strategies for fostering effective law enforcement. Chaired by Senators Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) the bipartisan Caucus seeks to highlight ways in which the federal government can better assist agencies at the state and local levels, and helps to circulate proven best practices in administering law enforcement programs during a time of severely limited budgets.

Three goals of the caucus are to:

Raise awareness and support for beneficial law enforcement and criminal justice initiatives in the Senate.

Highlight and promote professional careers in law enforcement.

Facilitate an exchange and debate of information, ideas, and concerns within law enforcement

14 Senators on the Caucus are not cosponsors of S. 1302, I believe the National Fraternal Oder of Police, U.S. Citizens and organizations should call for the removal of these Senators from The Senate Law Enforcement Caucas if they do not cosponsor S. 1302 and follow the rules of their Caucus.

These 14 Senators are not in support of three goals set by their Caucus, so how can they effectively serve on the Caucus?  The Senators are:

These 14 Senators should be removed from The Senate Law Enforcement Caucus and replaced with 14 Senators that adhere to all the goals on their Caucus and are cosponsors of S. 1302.
