There are 13 states with a insulin cap, Virginia and DC both have caps, Maryland does not and is not one of the states planning to introduce legislation.One solution is to reach out to your state delegate or state Senator and ask them to introduce legislation to cap insulin prices. If passed then it would become a law and people in that state would receive an insulin capped at certain price and other benefits.

Update Maryland General Assembly does have a Maryland House Bill HB 1397 that is under review.

Also while you a messaging your Delegate or Senator urge them to to use Representatives Johnson of Louisiana concurrent resolution HRC 11 as a model and to create legislation which is being sent to all State Legistrators to require their State Representatives and Senators to cosponsor H.R. 82 and S.1302 to repeal WEP and GPO also require the State Attorney General to further investigate ways to help retirees in the state.
