Wells Fargo is involved in the caging of children.

They provided money for two firms that run detention centers - one of which is still active.

Last year, close to 3,000 children were separated from their families at the border. It’s called the “zero tolerance” policy.”

It’s supposed to deter people from crossing into the U.S., but since children can’t be prosecuted for what their parent’s have done, the children were taken from their parents and placed in cages.

Wells Fargo pays these detention facilities that are used by ICE which is the department that is responsible for caging children.

In a warehouse in South Texas, hundreds of immigrant children sit in a series of cages. Some cram as many as 20 children inside.

The older children care for the younger because there is literally no one else there to do it.

Overhead lighting stays on at all times. The kids are given cots on the floor to sleep on. Staff are not allowed to touch or pick up the kids, some only 4 years old. Some kids are so traumatized that they stop talking altogether.

By giving money to these organizations, Wells Fargo is co-signing it. They are saying that, in their eyes, money is more important than people are. If you think kids shouldn’t have to be traumatized and put in cages, sign this petition now.
