I've had a response from the chief executive officer, DAVID MORCOM, of the Wellington Shire Council. They have decided to approve this request and propose it to VICROADS who first has to approve the changes to the speed signs. More wildlife signage is also going to be put up along the road. With the council now proposing it, it seems unlikely to be denied. Thank you all so much for your support and dedication to bringing down the speed limit for our beautiful wildlife that we share this country with. I'll post the final update of whether it is approved or denied as soon as I know.
