Many people were at the opening day of trial for Christy Tuchel. Support was strong for the dogs. Christy Tuchel seemed confident. She was happy, smiling, laughing and smoking cigarettes outside the courthouse. No remorse was witnessed. While people in the courtroom cried and jurors winced, Christy sat and looked at the horrific photos of dead dogs like it was an everyday occurrence.
