Subject: Petition Regarding Delay in Disbursement of NFSC Fellowship and Demand for Accountability
Respected Sir/Madam,
We, the undersigned NFSC fellowship awardees, wish to express our deep concern regarding the prolonged delay in the approval of our fellowship( Exceptional cases). This delay has caused severe financial hardship and has adversely affected our research work, academic progress, and livelihood.
The NFSC Fellowship is not a discretionary benefit but a sanctioned financial support provided to eligible scholars to enable them to pursue higher education and research. Timely disbursement of the fellowship is the responsibility of the concerned authorities. Unfortunately, repeated delays without clear communication have left scholars in uncertainty and distress.
Through this petition, we respectfully seek:
1. A clear explanation for the delay in the Approval of the NFSC fellowship.
2. A specific timeline for the release of all pending exceptional fellowship case .
3. Identification of the authority responsible for the delay and the measures being taken to prevent such delays in the future.
4. A transparent communication mechanism through which scholars receive regular updates regarding the status of their fellowship.
5. Institutional accountability to ensure that fellowship disbursements are made on time in accordance with the objectives of the scheme.
The right to education and research can only be meaningfully exercised when the financial assistance promised under the fellowship is provided in a timely manner. Scholars should not be compelled to face academic disruption due to administrative delays. We therefore request your urgent intervention to resolve this issue and ensure that all pending fellowship amounts are released without further delay.
We hope that this genuine concern of research scholars will receive immediate attention and that appropriate action will be taken in the interest of transparency, accountability, and academic welfare.
Yours faithfully,
NFSC Fellowship Awardees
