About an hour ago, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Elizabeth Denton Baird, put out a short statement in the Salem College Alumnae Facebook group. I wanted to make sure those who signed the petition but may not be in that particular group were able to have access to it.

As Chair, I want to share that the Salem Academy and College Board of Trustees is aware that concerns have been raised by members of our community. We take these concerns very seriously and plan to discuss them in detail during our BOT meeting scheduled for this week.
