As a long-term fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise, I have been eagerly waiting for a game that truly represents cultural background of Asia. The upcoming release of Assassin's Creed Shadow in November 2024 presents a perfect opportunity to introduce an Asian local main protagonist, which would show cultural respect to Japanese heritage, as well as diversity. Turns out the upcoming game is choosing African for the second time (Freedom Cry) instead, which is redundant. Ubisoft has previously featured protagonists from various ethnic backgrounds including all the politically correct races among the Western community only. It is time to include an accurate representation of Asian culture in this beloved series. 

Having a historically accurate and culturally respectful character can enhance the gaming experience and provide representation for millions of fans like myself. Please join me in urging Ubisoft to honour Japanese culture by featuring an appropriate protagonist in Assassin's Creed Shadow. Sign this petition to make our voices heard!
