In case you think this is a victory remember that hourly rate (for me at least) increase over the last 9 years was around 0.684%. This years 2% has to be taken into account as added over the last 9 years waiting which is actually adding 0.222% per year bringing swimming teachers still up to only 0.906% increase over 9 years, still 1.5 - 2% below inflation over that time period.  Still 2% per year below inflation, that's every  pound  earned worth 2 pence per year less, year on year.
