Bring Duck Avenger (Stål-Kalle / Paperinik) to the screen. For decades, fans across Europe have followed the thrilling adventures of Duck Avenger – known as Stål-Kalle in Scandinavia and Paperinik in Italy. This iconic alter ego of Donald Duck has become a beloved and complex hero, whose stories blend action , emotion, humor, and moral depth.                  And yet… he has never been given a film or animated series, despite his rich universe and passionate following. 

We believe it's time for that to change. 

Why Duck Avenger deserves his moment. 

He is one of Disney’s most beloved European comic book heroes, with a strong fanbase in Italy, Germany, the Nordics, and beyond. His stories combine tech-noir atmosphere, personal struggles, and science fiction in a way that appeals to both younger and older audiences.

The tone is perfect for today’s market – where animated series like Spider-Verse, DuckTales (2017), and Batman: The Animated Series have shown that fans want more than surface-level entertainment. Nostalgia is thriving – and Duck Avenger is the ultimate nostalgic hero waiting for his comeback. 

 What we are asking for -We call upon Disney+ Europe and Egmont / Disney Publishing to consider developing: A 6–10 episode animated miniseries, or a feature-length animated film based on classic Paperinik stories and/or modern PKNA sagas. This project could start as a European Disney+ original – with global dubbing to reach the international audience.  Why this matters - Duck Avenger is more than just a masked duck. He represents the everyday underdog who becomes a hero, not by luck or magic – but by courage, cleverness, and heart.
