Subject: Request for Video Recordings and Transcripts Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 552)

 

Dear Public Information Officer,

 

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 552), I respectfully request access to and copies of all records related to the incident involving Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf that occurred at David Kuykendall Stadium on or about April 2, 2025.

 

Specifically, we request:

Any and all surveillance video recordings depicting the incident before, during, and after the events in question.

Any body camera footage, security footage, cell phone videos, or other video recordings maintained by Frisco ISD related to the incident.

Any transcripts, written summaries, captions, reports, logs, or records generated from or referencing the requested video recordings.

Any records identifying the existence, location, retention schedule, or chain of custody of the requested recordings.

Any correspondence between Frisco ISD and law enforcement agencies concerning the release, preservation, withholding, or review of the requested recordings.

 

If any portion of the requested records is exempt from disclosure, please provide:

 

The specific statutory basis for withholding the information;

The Attorney General Open Records Letter number, if applicable;

A description of the records being withheld sufficient to allow evaluation of the claimed exemption;

Any reasonably segregable non-exempt portions of the records.

 

If the requested records are available electronically, I request that they be provided in electronic format via email or downloadable link whenever possible.

 

If there are fees associated with fulfilling this request, please provide an itemized estimate before processing the request.

 

Please consider this request a request for all reasonably segregable portions of responsive records. If additional clarification is needed, I can be contacted at the information below.
