The people of Muskegon County need another hospital.  The one we have currently is not enough and unable at times to accommodate our community.  The waiting room is packed, and not enough beds to provide care for everybody.   It is quicker to drive to Grand Rapids or Holland to be seen before we can even get in to an ER room.   We went from 3 hospitals down to one.  Many time’s listening to the scanner news we don’t even have enough ambulances to  provide for our neighborhoods.  Other communities are on standby because we are down to zero.  This is extremely dangerous.  I’m not bashing the hospital we have, we just need more.
