For years, I dedicated my life to representing my fellow employees as a shop steward. But a shadow loomed over our team, casting doubt and disillusionment—our 737 business agent. Her consistent failure to process grievances, particularly her negligence in submitting step 2 grievance replies to the cast and shop stewards, ultimately pushed me to resign from my position. This negligence has not only affected me personally, but has also bred growing skepticism about whether our union is genuinely committed to advocating for our rights or simply focused on collecting dues.

It's disheartening to witness that, despite numerous grievances being filed, there seems to be no significant effort or accountability in addressing them. The integrity of our union is being compromised, and trust is eroding among dedicated members who once believed in its mission. It is high time to address these issues, ensuring that the primary purpose of the union—to protect its members—remains at the forefront.

We call upon our union to hold our 737 business agent accountable for her repeated failures to uphold her responsibilities. We also urge the leadership to establish a more transparent and effective process for handling grievances, ensuring that every worker's voice is heard and respected.

To strengthen our hopes the union is not all about making money and to restore the cast faith in its operations, we need actionable change. We propose the following solution of removing Alma as the business agent of Hollywood studios.
