Hello Torchbearers,

As a personal backer of the Kickstarter campaign for Darkest Dungeon, I feel betrayed by Mythic Games and I'm pretty sure is the same for several of you.

They are asking for more money from all backers as if it was an additional contribution, but in reality they are just stealing our money. We all know that they are lying and if we don't pay this extra amount, we will not receive the game that we have already fully funded.

Mythic Games has broken its original promises and commitments to us. This behavior is unacceptable and goes against the spirit of collaboration and trust inherent in crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter.

According to Statista, 37% of Kickstarter campaigns do not achieve their financial goal (Statista 2020). However, our campaign was successful (1885.82% over the budget) and we still found ourselves in this unfair situation.

We demand that Mythic Games honor its original commitments to us. We shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes or financial calculations errors. We ask for full transparency on how our funds are being used, refunding contributions that have already been paid and ensuring that everyone receives their game as ordered.
