My son Rolando Victorero was shot and killed on December 10, 2023, during the holidays and one week before his  33th birthday by this individual whose name is Kelvin Fajardo. Despite having two pending felonies, & was involved in another shooting in 2018,  where a young girl lost her life, Fajardo was never arrested or taken to jail for my son's murder. Instead the State Attorney's Office & PBSO close the case immediately without any charges. They applied Stand Your Ground which doesn't apply on this case, he shot my son in the back multiple times while he was running for his life.   My heart aches every single day knowing that the person responsible for taking my son's life walks free.

I created this petition because I need your help to seek justice for my son  Rolando Victorero to ensure this violent individual is held accountable for his actions.

The people of West Palm Beach deserve to live in a community where justice is served and criminals are prosecuted for their heinous acts. Rolando was a  beloved Son, Father of two little girls, brother, uncle, friend and  community member, and his tragic death has left a void in the lives of all who knew him.  The inaction by the authorities in the case of my son's murder is unacceptable and sets a dangerous precedent that those with pending felonies remain unchecked.

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, only 45% of violent crimes are solved, leaving families like mine without closure. This heartbreaking reality is even harder to accept knowing that the perpetrator is not unknown or unreachable—he is right here in our community.
